Description

The fruit is very similar to Caseolaris but much smaller in size. Calyx six to eight lobes, leaves sub-orbicular. Found mostly at the confluence regions.
Fruit cooked as condiment for flavouring curries and used for preparation of vinegar, digestion, vermifuse and fermented fruit juice relieves hemorrhage.
